With sufficient USB-C PD (and QC) input, it can even discharge up to 2.5A per cell, making capacity checks and cell matching practical instead of painful.

Seven operating modes cover everyday charging and serious maintenance: Charge, Discharge, Cycle, MaxBoost, Turbo (fast charge), 3-Stage Charging, and an activation/break-in mode for new or long-stored cells. A metal scroll wheel and LED status indicators keep control simple; Bluetooth links to the SkyCharger app for live graphs and slot-by-slot data, including side-by-side discharge curves for easy comparison. If you keep a mix of AA/AAA packs for remotes and lights, plus 18650/21700 cells for flashlights or tools, the MC5000 lets you manage all of them from one bench-friendly unit. Common questions:

What can I charge?
Single cylindrical cells from AAAA/AAA/AA, Sub-C, C, and D (two at a time), plus lithium sizes like 18350/18500/18650/18700/20700/21700/26650/32650/32700 and many in between. Protected 21700 cells fit.

How fast is it, really?
Set 0.05-5.00A per slot, subject to the 80W total. That’s enough to quick-charge high-capacity Li-ion or run proper “break-in” on NiMH at gentle rates. Discharge is 0.05-2.00A per slot for capacity checks or storage conditioning.

Does it run on AC or USB-C?
It has a built-in 100-240V AC power supply. The USB-C port is output only (PD 3.0 up to 65W). If you power a device from PD, the MC5000 prioritizes that power before sharing the remainder to the charge slots.

Is there an app?
Yes - SkyCharger for iOS and Android. Connect via Bluetooth to watch curves, log data, and perform firmware updates.

Can it prepare cells for storage or revive older NiMH?
Yes. Storage, Refresh, Cycle, and Break-in modes are built in, with chemistry-appropriate termination methods for NiMH/NiCd.

The SkyRC Omni XT90 Power Distribution Hub is a compact, high-current DC power splitter built to clean up your pit bench. Feed it from a single XT90 source and power multiple RC devices and chargers at the same time - no adapter mess, no daisy chains. SKYRC B6AC V2 is the upgraded version for well-known iMAX B6AC. Compared with iMAX B6AC, it is more accurate and stable and also has some new features and functions.
