The HobbyStar Affront 4268 is for 1/8 off-road buggies that need smooth sensored throttle control without jumping to a longer, heavier can. It is a 4-pole sensored brushless motor in a 68.7mm 4268-size case, with 1900KV, 2100KV, 2350KV, 2600KV, and 2800KV options and a 2400W rating.

The useful bits are all the usual things racers and serious builders actually care about: adjustable timing, a removable/replaceable rotor, 0.2mm stator laminations, high-temperature copper windings, oversized high-speed bearings, and a CNC 6061 T6 aluminum heat-dissipation shell. In plain English, it is built to run efficiently and stay tunable, not merely to look dramatic in the parts bin.

The off-road version uses a sealed can design with splashproof and dustproof protection for normal dirt-track and dusty RC use. It also gives you M3 and M4 mounting holes, a 5mm shaft, and a compact 320g weight. Match the KV to your battery, ESC, gearing, vehicle weight, and class rules; high KV plus optimism is still not a cooling system.

The HobbyStar 540 V2 motor is all new from the ground up, the result of refining an already proven design.  HobbyStar motors are known for being one of the smoothest powerplants on the track, and the V2 takes that buttery-smooth operation to the next level with an updated sensor board that even incorporates dual ports for the ultimate in flexibility.  Every component of the V2 motors was evaluated, even the case screws have been upgraded to titanium-nitride coated aluminum units (an industry first). NOTE: 5.5T and below motors are VERY HIGH KV, and are not meant for extended use on 2S as they will easily overheat.  These are intended for drag-race use only where they will see short bursts of use.
