Big RC chargers are hungry little boxes. Feed them with a random bench supply or a tired old brick and you get voltage sag, current limits, heat, and the delightful suspense of wondering which part of your charging setup will complain first. The SKYRC eFUEL PSU2000 is built for serious RC charging benches that need clean adjustable DC power without turning the pit table into a science-fair accident.
Output adjusts from 8-36V and 1-55A. On 100-120V AC input it provides up to 1200W. On 200-240V AC input it can provide up to 1980W. For US wall outlets, treat it as a very capable 1200W supply; the full 1980W rating depends on higher-voltage AC input.
A front LCD shows real-time voltage and current, while the smart cooling fan and built-in protections help keep the unit steady under load. It is a proper bench and track power source for high-output chargers, with enough control to set the voltage and current for your setup instead of just hoping the charger and supply decide to get along.

Careful shock setup only works when the oil behaves like oil. Trapped air compresses, which can make damping feel vague and leave carefully built shocks behaving differently. The SKYRC Shock Oil Bubble Buster uses adjustable vacuum pressure to pull trapped air and micro-bubbles from oil-filled RC shocks, giving each rebuild a cleaner, more repeatable starting point.
Set the filled shock bodies in the built-in multi-size stand, tighten the vent screw, fit the clear cup, and turn the control knob. Turn it farther for faster vacuum, or back it down for thinner oil. Watch the bubbles rise, switch the unit off when they are gone, then open the vent before lifting the cup. Simple, manual, and blissfully free of another app.
The stand fits 13-19mm shock bodies, covering common 1/8 off-road, 1/10 touring, and crawler shocks. Use 5V USB-C at the workbench or a 5-15V XT60 source trackside. Maximum input current is 1A, and rated vacuum pressure is -36.05kPa +/- 2kPa.
It can also help foam tires absorb tire additive more evenly. Foam compounds vary, so test a small area first. The box contains the main unit and manual; shocks, oil, power source, and cable are not included.
Quick specs:
- Vacuum pressure: about -36 kPa (-36.05 kPa +/- 2 kPa)
- Pump power adjustment: 3-5.5V via rotary knob - higher for thick oils, lower for thin oils

- Power input: USB-C (5V) or XT60 DC input (5-15V), max 1A
- Internal battery: none - needs external power to run
- Controls: rotary power/speed knob plus a vent screw to release the vacuum
- Chamber: transparent cup over the shock stand, so you can watch the bubbles leave
- Dimensions: 98x88x185mm
- Operating range: 0C to 40C, 10-90 percent humidity, non-condensing
- Secondary use: helps traction additive penetrate deeper into foam tires; test a small area first
- In the box: vacuum unit (base, multi-size shock stand, clear cup), instruction manual
- Limitation: mild vacuum tuned for shock oil - not a shop degassing chamber for resin or silicone work
If you keep a mix of AA/AAA packs for remotes and lights, plus 18650/21700 cells for flashlights or tools, the MC5000 lets you manage all of them from one bench-friendly unit. Four fully independent slots handle over ten chemistries (Li-ion, Li-ion HV, LiFe, NiMH, NiCd, eneloop, NiZn, RAM, LTO, and even emerging Na-ion), with precise control over charge/discharge and full readouts for capacity and internal resistance.
Why choose it
- One charger for almost everything: Works with 44+ cylindrical sizes - from AAAA and AAA/AA up to 21700/32700; up to two D-cells at a time. Spring-loaded rails make swaps quick.
- Real analysis, not just “charging”: See live voltage/current curves, mAh put back, and internal resistance to judge cell health and match sets.
- Fast, controlled charging: Up to 5.00A per slot (80W total). Discharge up to 2.00A for testing, cycling, and storage prep.
- Six useful modes: Charge, Discharge, Storage, Cycle, Refresh, and Break-in - available per chemistry.
- App control & updates: Built-in Bluetooth works with SkyRC’s SkyCharger app for remote monitoring and firmware upgrades.
- Extra utility on the bench: USB-C PD 65W output to power a laptop, tablet, or test gear while you work. (PD output takes priority over charge power.)
- Clear, quick operation: 2.8" color display, scroll wheel + two buttons, status LEDs, and triple-fan cooling.
Common questions:
What can I charge?
Single cylindrical cells from AAAA/AAA/AA, Sub-C, C, and D (two at a time), plus lithium sizes like 18350/18500/18650/18700/20700/21700/26650/32650/32700 and many in between. Protected 21700 cells fit.
How fast is it, really?
Set 0.05-5.00A per slot, subject to the 80W total. That’s enough to quick-charge high-capacity Li-ion or run proper “break-in” on NiMH at gentle rates. Discharge is 0.05-2.00A per slot for capacity checks or storage conditioning.
Does it run on AC or USB-C?
It has a built-in 100-240V AC power supply. The USB-C port is output only (PD 3.0 up to 65W). If you power a device from PD, the MC5000 prioritizes that power before sharing the remainder to the charge slots.
Is there an app?
Yes - SkyCharger for iOS and Android. Connect via Bluetooth to watch curves, log data, and perform firmware updates.
Can it prepare cells for storage or revive older NiMH?
Yes. Storage, Refresh, Cycle, and Break-in modes are built in, with chemistry-appropriate termination methods for NiMH/NiCd.
What’s in the box
MC5000 charger, AC power cord, quick-start guide.
Notes & safe use
- Do not charge primary (non-rechargeable) cells such as alkaline, zinc-carbon, CR123A/CR2.
- Follow your battery maker’s recommended charge rates; the MC5000 lets you set conservative currents for longevity.
