Cold nitro starts are where starter boxes go to question their life choices. The SKYRC Engine Heater pre-warms .19-.26 RC nitro engines so the piston, sleeve, con-rod and crank are treated a bit less rudely during warm-up.

Powered from a 12V DC source, this compact 90W nitro engine preheater brings the engine up to approximately 60-70C in around 10 minutes, depending on ambient temperature. MCU-controlled heating, a built-in temperature sensor, low voltage cutoff and an automatic safety timer keep the process simple instead of turning pit prep into a small electrical opera.

The adjustable fireproof and heat-resistant cover fits over the engine head, while the top access port lets you check engine temperature without constantly removing the heater. Racers buy an ESC because they want the car to respond the way they intend, not the way some mystery box in the chassis happens to feel that day. Run it mild and legal for the class, or open up the tuning where the rules allow it. Either way, the point is control.

TS160-PRO V2 is rated at 160A continuous and 850A peak, supports sensored and sensorless brushless motors, and runs on 2-3S LiPo or 6-9S NiMH. It is intended for 1/10 touring cars, 1/10 buggies, and 1/10 crawlers, with motor recommendations of 4.5T and up for touring and 5.5T and up for buggy.
